Before the web
- 1980sMaking games at home on a Tandy Color Computer.
- 1990sCo-sysop of The Gaming Center, a 40 line Major BBS, under the handle ELLiS DeE.
- 1990sLed the Wadmasters, a coalition of Miami Doom II level makers, building a Doom II WAD of their own.
- 1993The first Find the Nerd, typed into BASICA in high school.
- 1990sA web presence at last: Slackware Linux on a box at home, reachable through dynamic DNS services.
On the home box
- 2001bluesomething.com goes live: A Greymatter journal, with an Ikonboard forum on the side. ALFreaKo later wrote a converter to carry the old entries forward when the journal left Greymatter.
- 2001clancritic.com becomes the umbrella for the home server: The HeadHunters clan forum, a photo blog and space for friendly clans.
- 2002hhclan.com, home of the HeadHunters: Unreal Tournament's Strike Force mod first, news posted with Greymatter, then a Mambo site and Call of Duty from 2004. ALFreaKo ran it until about 2008; the domain has since passed to someone else.
- 2003alfreako.com, Alfreako's Cyberspace: A Mambo portal with a PhoneCam, polls, a tagboard and the tagline "ALFreaKo.com is worthless... What are you doing here?"
- 2004The server runs with its case open and a fan blowing in. A bad network card takes the "cheap freeloading web tenants" offline for a day.
- 2005The journal moves to Movable Type, then ExpressionEngine 1.0, which carries bluesomething to 2010.
- 2011spacenerds.com, first time around: Game events for space nerds and friends. Halo LAN parties, poker and barbecue, on ExpressionEngine.
- 2013alfreako.com lapses to a parking page for a while, then comes back to the home box.
- 2026Space Nerd Labs LLC. spacenerds.com becomes Space Nerd Studios, spacenerd.net is Space Nerd Systems, and alfreako.com turns into this BBS.
